Of shoes, and ships, and sealing-wax
Of cabbages and kings...."

It is hard to believe that we are finally at this
point. In a few hours we will finally know what will go down in history. The
only thing is, will it be thought of well and worthy when we look back at this
year? It truly has been a crazy awards season, most of which is still up in the
air, and no one knows where it will land. It has been a long time since there
was a race this close to call. I have never sat through an Oscar ceremony where
I didn't know who/what is going to win, so I have a feeling I will just be on
the edge of my seat the whole time. The good thing about all of this is I do
not think there is an unworthy film or performance in the bunch, so to me,
whatever films or performances win, I will likely be okay.
I hope tomorrow I can bask in the glory of a
Gravity win and a Leonardo upset. I truly do. I know that 12 Years a Slave is
our likely Best Picture winner, I get it, and accept it, and can live with it;
but I decided to go down with Gravity's sinking ship and Leo's too. If I am
wrong I am wrong, but that is what my heart wants. I guess it is what it is.
There is no turning back from here, so we might as well just strap ourselves in
for a little three hour ride. I do not think we can go wrong though with Ellen
as our host, I mean if all else fails, at least we still have Ellen to put a
smile on our faces! Anyways here are my final and full Oscar Predictions:
